I'm Vypur, a software engineer and game dev hobbyist. So far I have released one official game on steam and aim to release more into the near future! If you are interested in following my work you can follow the individual blogs for each game or my twitter where I will post progress as time goes on.
I have a huge passion for gaming, I play games usually every day and am a huge fan of high-skill/difficult games. Ive beaten a lot of the greats like I Wanna Be The Boshy, Getting Over It and play competitive to the highest ranks in most games (currently Rocket League/Apex) But I did play SC2 to Diamond, and League to D1. My goal with my games is to create a fun experience with solid controls that enable you to fully utlize your abilities. The game should be what YOU make of it and you shouldn't feel limited by things like "Ah If only the controls didn't suck i could [x]" or "ah this just feel so sluggish/slidey/slippery". In my first released game, "Get Good", a play on Getting Over It, A big part of that game was in my opinion obnoxious controls. The majority of the time It feels like you are fighting the controls as much as the environment. I don't like that at all so i gave the player full control and a big tenany of my design principals are to allow people to customize their controls, for controller users this means deadzone modification and things like tap upwards to jump or not, configurability is always good and too many games hard-code values for mouse/controls that really should be customizable. While I have all these projects I dont have the most time to work on them and all the other content I would like to create, but hopefully you can enjoy and look forward to those that I currently post about!.
